The Estrie Multiple Sclerosis Association (EMSA) is an organisation providing hope and support to hundreds of people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their relatives. Since our foundation in 1986, our team of volunteers does its best to increase the patients' well-being. Their actions adapt to the specific request formulated by our members to provide moral and physical support as soon as a patient receives an MS diagnostic. Patients can also benefit from kinesiological support and mobility enhancing equipment to reduce the impact of MS on their lives.

In addition to the care provided to the patients, EMSA gives them hope by raising funds to support the research conducted at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CHUS). Even if their actual research is the only non-subsidized study conducted on venous insufficiency in Canada, the CHUS, initiative presents one of the greatest sources of hope for a potential cure for MS. It is why EMSA puts so much effort in raising funds to support their research and hope to see MS being cured in a near future.
